You all know I am no stranger to wine tasting, in fact, I consider myself nearly a master. I knew exactly how I wanted to enjoy both of these brut champagnes. Before I jump fully in, please allow me to inform you about this winery!
I am so happy we had planned on waiting to pop open the Brute Rose for our anniversary. Scroll down to see how Chris and I celebrated this new 'Brut Rose." This beauty here is their 2013 Blanc De Blancs. I was a little weary before trying it because it is 100% blend of Chardonnay. I will never understand my hate relationship with Chardonnay. Brut it my most favorite of sparkling wines so this did not shy me away from tasting. According to their food pairing suggestion I went ahead and paired this wine with a lemon tart pie (Chris made it, not me, yeah right!). It was sensational! The acidity is only 0.79g/100ml which means zero heartburn for us acidic sensitive people. Gloria Ferrer, you had me at hello. |
