Raelyns Roulette: OLEUM VERA

December 08, 2016

Have you ever heard of a do-it-yourself skin care regime? I am talking NATURAL remedies at your door stop. I remember when I was younger I heard about using cucumbers on my eyes to reduce puffiness. OH ANNNNDDD, I will never forget about the toothpaste beauty secret which consists of rubbing paste all over my face for 20 (stinging agonizing) minutes to help reduce the oil on my face. Sure, maybe this would have worked for you if you added this or that ingredient.
I did some research and I am introducing Oleum Vera. This is an USDA organic make-it-from scratch facial regime. I decided to use their Do-it-Yourself Organic Face Moisturizer. It is a 6 month supply for only $75.95.....I spend $138 on my usual 6 month regime. I am not joking ask me in the comment field below "What am I spending on?" I invited a GF of mine over who has the opposite skin type and we did a facial, sipped some wine, watched a movie, and pampered our skin. We both live in California so.....it is so so so dry here.

I am adding "quote me" ingredients from their website because that is exactly what I did. I followed direction per recipe.
Lemon & Cucumber Toner For Normal or Combination Skin
½ large organic cucumber, diced small
3 tbs (45 ml) organic witch hazel oil* 2 tbs (30 ml) organic green tea
1 tbs (15 ml) organic lemon juice
1 tsp (5 ml) non-GMO plant-based glycerin 1 tsp (5 ml) non-GMO vitamin E oil
DISCLAIMER: The following is quote from their website. I would not have this information on my website unless this was tested myself.
LEMON JUICE: is loaded with healthy vitamins that can make your skin glow. Use only a little bit at a time, though, as the acidity could interfere with your skin’s natural pH.

WITCH HAZEL: tightens the skin, fights off bacteria and reduces inflammation. This natural astringent also helps remove excess oil and works wonders on normal to oily skin.

VITAMIN E: oil is a phenomenal alternative to synthetic preservatives. Its antioxidant properties will help prolong the shelf life of your toner and keep it from going rancid.
