Upon our arrival Chris and I were awed by how scenic and serene this hotel was from the entrance. I immediately knew this was going to be memorable. We were greeted with their house Red wine, yummy chocolates, and a special note in celebration of our baby-moon.
I was pregnant at the time so our Itinerary was focused on food. The images we have did not do justice to some of our experiences so I did not post them. Here are some names of the restaurants we visited : The Cottage, Hash House a go go, Shorehouse Kitchen, and a few breweries (Chris was craving beer during my pregnancy). I enjoyed sitting and watching him sample all these "AWESOME BREWS!!!"
We took a visit to a local beach favorite where we saw several seals. I was terrified at first but I had never been so close before and that was an experience in itself alone. This beach was La Jolla Shores. I felt connected to the seals because at the time I felt like I looked like one (Third Trimester). Eveyone is friendly as far as the locals and staff go. They try their best to offer you an excellent experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small get-away.
